The President, along with the General Secretary of the Bhutan Hardware Association and two Chiefs from the Bhutan Standards Bureau (BSB), held a meeting with Lt. Col. V. Sharma, Head of Procurement, Project Dantak, at their Headquarters earlier this evening.

The discussion focused on matters related to the 15 products currently under BSB certification, with an emphasis on ensuring compliance, quality assurance, and streamlined procurement processes.

A key outcome of the meeting was the mutual understanding that all procurement tenders and supply-related information from Project Dantak will be shared directly with the Association’s Secretariat Office. The Secretariat will, in turn, disseminate this information to all members, ensuring transparency, equal access to opportunities, and improved coordination within the sector.

This engagement marks a significant step towards strengthening collaboration between Project Dantak and the Association, while promoting fair participation and informed decision-making among members.
